The standardization section was formerly a standardization institution established by taiyuan heavy machinery factory in 1954. Since then, the standardization work of TZ has stepped on right track. The basic series standards, basic and professional parts standards, process standards, material standards, and welding standards have been formulated. In more than 60 years of development, through continuous exploration and practice, a technical standard system gradually established and improved based on the national standards, industry standards, heavy machinery standards, and foreign advanced standards, enterprise standards. Standard innovation mechanism has been established. Standardization of product development results and supervision and evaluation of service standards were implemented, which greatly promoted the improvement of product quality and service quality.

The technology center has established a standard full-text data dynamic information management system, which includes more than 2100 national standards, 1,700 industry standards, 570 company standards and 300 foreign standards, totaling more than 4,700 currently effective standards. It covers the company's product standards, parts standards, material standards, process standards, inspection and test standards, safety and environmental protection standards and quota standards, etc., and plays an important role in ensuring and supporting the company's product quality, engineering quality and service quality.

In many years of standardization work, the technology center has formed a professional standardization team. Senior engineers account for more than 80% of the team. Over the years, actively participate in industry standardization, participated in the national metallurgical equipment standardization technical committee, national hoisting machinery standardization technical committee, the national mining machinery standardization technical committee, national standardization technical committee on machine shaft and attachment. Committed to the national standards, industry standards strategy research and standard system revision work. At the same time, actively carry out the discussion and exchange of enterprise standardization work, effectively improve the standard system construction level of the company. We have formulated and revised more than 80 national standards, more than 50 standards for the machinery industry and more than 10 standards for heavy machinery. More than 7 provincial and ministerial-level second prizes, 10 industry-standard advanced individuals, 5 invention patents and 9 utility model patents were won.
