R&D ability

  • TZ Technology Center and the State Key Laboratory are cores of technically creative system. Besides, the institute, technical department and process department of each branch and subsidiary is an important component of this system. Apart from this, research institute co-built by TZ and domestic colleges and institutes, industry engineering research center, laboratories, post-doctoral workstation and academician workstation are included in the system. On the other hand, well –known enterprises and customers at home and abroad are involved in the system. As a result, the system integrates all the processes consist of product development, scientific research, trial-manufacturing and popularization and leads to a technically creative system combined with production, education, research and application.

    According to the requirements of ISO9000 quality system, TZ Technology Center always takes user requirements as the starting point and adopts closed loop design principle which incorporates advanced design and reasonable verification. In the past few years the design methods has been up-graded considerably via imformatization. Meanwhile, 3-D design and PDM platform application are widely promoted successively. Up to now, real-time communication via local area network and e-mail system have been created, which leads to a data sharing and resource allocation among all product information and enterprise resources.

    Based on above conditions, a synergistic platform of product design and product simulation based on digitization has formed. Modularization is the design base in the platform and parameterization is the transformation method of each module. Combined with the real requirements from customers, a standard, normative and reproducible resource library is founded through modularized analysis and processing and parameterized modeling. Hence, a synergistic platform of product design with PDM as the core is created and the configuration design and transformation design can be true in order to realize fast design. Finally, the ability of technical creativity and product creativity can be improved; the modularization and standardization of design in enterprise with the feature of one piece or short run production and customized production can be promoted.

    In future, product development platform based on PDM will be reinforced successively in order to realize the vertical integration of synergistic design with all majors including mechanics, electric, hydraumatic and transmission, to realize the transverse interaction of data with all stages including CAD, CAE, CAPP and CAM. All in all, the final goal is PLM.
