Engineering Research Center of Steel Pipe Equipment in Mechanical Industry is organized to improving overall the ability building, which steel pipe equipment series products develop, test and research in china; develop the product standardization serialization and generalization; mainly worked on the complete equipment and project R&D of seamless steel tube, helical welded pipe, and UOE / ERW major diameter longitudinal welded pipes. The main research direction: standardization serialization and generalization of complete steel pipe equipment production line; research on complete steel pipe deep processing equipment; research on calculation model and process database of piercer, pipe mill, reducing / sizing mill, straightener; rolling theory and automation control principle of mandrel pipe mill; research on rolling theory model; research on control technology of hydraulicsmall compartment roll gapin mandrel pipe mill; research onhead and tail sharpeningtechnology of mandrel pipe mill.

Engineering Research Center of large Mining Equipment in Mechanical Industry,which relies on TZR&D resources in the field of mining heavy equipment, is organized to strengthen the applying basic research, key and common technology research; promote theindustrialization of new products, new technologies and new processes; and improve the technical level and product update speed. The main research direction:applying basic and common technology,equipment complex R&D technology, materials and technology research of themining heavy equipment.

With the development of modern high-precision rolling technology, the rolling mill presents high speed, heavy load, continuity, high degree of automation. At the same time, the rolling mill has put forward higher requirements on the running precision, loading capacity, service life, adaptability to various speeds and working conditions of the oil film bearing.

The engineering laboratory of rolling mill oil film bearing in mechanical industry conducts research on the principle, material, process and new application of oil film bearing. The main research directions include: research on lubrication mechanism of rolling mill oil film bearing under different conditions; processing technology and material research of rolling mill oil film bearing; on-line measurement parameters of oil film bearing; and intensive study of non-contact measurement technology, etc.

Engineering Laboratory of Railway Transit Running Key Components in Machinery Industry aims at development direction and technology frontier of international railway transit running key components; bases on the current rail transit running key components; focuses on the future rail transit at home and abroad, such as high-speed, heavy-duty, fast, comfortable, energy-saving and environmental protection in the direction of long-term development and the reality demand; aims at the world, serves the whole country and goes global; and combines the characteristics and advantages of the laboratory. For the existing problem and gap of rail transit running key components, there are three research directions: high-performance of wheel axle materials, advanced manufacturing technology for axle systems, and reliability and application technology of wheel axle system.
